If you do, the most important thing you need to focus on is growing your people. In some organisations, personal development, coaching and mentoring is viewed as an expense rather than an investment.

Often I get asked: 'but what if we invest in our people and they leave?'

Well, what if you don't invest in your people and they stay? Scary!

A workforce of bored, stagnant, disinterested and disengaged team members....doesn't sound productive to me.
